Juan Manuel Marquez Returns To Face Cuenca In Mexico City!

Mexican superstar Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KOs), is scheduled to return to the ring against Argentina’s Cesar Rene Cuenca (42-0, 1 KO), on April 14 in Mexico City, Mexico.
In what team Marquez is calling a keep busy fight, Juan will face Cuenca for the interim WBO light welterweight title. A title which became available when jr. welterweight Timothy Bradley Jr. took the fight against Manny Pacquiao instead of his mandatory. Mexico City is Marquez’s hometown, which he has not fought in since ’94.
Marquez reportedly already has a set fight date in place for July 14, in which a PPV bout against either Mercito Gesta or Brandon Rios would take place at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
