Ward Outclasses Froch, Wins Super Six Boxing Classic Tournament!

Boardwalk Hall, Atlantic City, New Jersey– Finally, after 26 months since it started, a Super Six World Boxing Classic Champion was crowned. Former gold medalist, Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward captured the tournament trophy, as well as the WBC Super Middleweight Championship to add to his WBA Title in beating up Nottingham’s own, Carl ‘The Cobra’ Froch in a 12rd unanimous decision. Maybe Ward felt just as he did in 2004, when his decorated amateur career ended as he received his Athens Olympics Gold Medal. Read more
