WBA interim Light Welterweight titlist, Johan “El Terrible” Perez (15W-1L-12KO’s-1D) of Caracas, Venezuela clashes against former IBF/USBA Super Featherweight champion, Steve “2POUND” Forbes (35W-11L-11KO’s) of Las Vegas, Nevada in a scheduled ten round junior welterweight contest.
Perez, 29, will be arriving from a six month absence since suffering a disappointing seventh round technical decision defeat from an accidental clash of heads to interim WBA World Light Welterweight champion, Pablo Cesar “El Demoledor” Cano (25W-2L-19KO’s-1D) at the Oasis Hotel Complex in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
